Framing Applications

Public issues have a time and place...they have their own history and their own momentum. We've found through the years that national issues help us understand how our thoughts and feelings can be applied in a long-term, national policy discussion, but local and state issues help us understand how we can actively participate in short-term, locally-focused decisions. Both are important. Visit the 'Partners & Links' page to see the resources available for deliberation support on national issues. Visit the 'Framing Applications' link on this page to read and download the many locally-focused issue guides we've created for specific projects of the California NIF Network.
Here are the discussion guides we've created for the projects of the California NIF Network, listed with the most recent at the top. We hope they're helpful.
